Hyperion Usage Dashboard

What is it?
The ESI Hyperion Usage Dashboard is a one page snapshot of your Hyperion installation. Key indicators idenitify your top reports, top users and heaviest hitters. You also get an understanding of overall usage, as well as who is, or isn't, using the reports you've got available.

Your dashboard will reveal where to focus your efforts when migrating to newer versions, where to focus your resources when maintaining reports and which users and reports may need further attention and exploration.

Top 5
Your dashboard contains several "Top 5" reports that quickly identify who among your users run the most reports, which reports and jobs get used most often, and which reports take too long to run. With this information you can focus your resources on those reports when migrating to new versions - from coding to testing, and from prioritizing maintenance and enhancements. Understanding which users utilize your system most will allow you to support and supply those users that benefit most from your system.

Active vs. Inactive
Your dashboard contains a quick view of your active reports and active users. Understanding how many users you have utilizing your system is vital for understanding your licensing and scalability. Purchasing licenses and hardware you need can drastically lower operating expenses and allow you to divert those resources to what's important - delivering useful data to your end users.

Usage
Your dashboard also displays time based usage charts - displaying usage throughout the day and throughout the month. Understanding peak times, and peak days is vital to scheduling reports, running data loads and upgrading system components. In certain systems, this can identify when to disable certain concurrent processes to further reduce operating costs.
